Corozal Bay & Waterfront
The Corozal Town waterfront along Chetumal Bay is one of the most serene spots in all of Belize. A wide sea wall promenade, colourful painted houses, palm trees, and the calm bay stretching toward Mexico. It is the perfect place to watch the sunset with a belikin and a plate of rice and beans.

Cerros Maya Site
Across the bay from Corozal Town, Cerros (also called Cerro Maya) is a Preclassic Maya site that was once a major trading port. Only accessible by boat, it features one of the earliest examples of Maya monumental architecture — massive stucco masks of Maya deities adorn its temples.

Santa Elena Border — Mexico
Corozal District shares its northern border with Chetumal, Mexico — a major Mexican city. The Santa Elena border crossing is one of Belize's busiest, with daily movement of goods, families, and traders between the two countries. Many Corozal families have roots on both sides of the border.

Little Belize — Mennonite Community
Little Belize in the Corozal District is a traditional Old Colony Mennonite settlement where horse-drawn buggies travel dirt roads, families farm organically, and handmade cheese and honey are produced. One of the most culturally distinct communities in Belize.
