1Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the RideBelize application or website (ridebelize.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use RideBelize.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Kiralis Import/Export Dealer LLC, doing business as RideBelize, a California limited liability company.

2About RideBelize

RideBelize is a technology platform that connects passengers with independent driver-partners across all six districts of Belize. RideBelize also facilitates package delivery, food delivery, and freight services.

RideBelize is not a transportation company. Drivers on the platform are independent contractors, not employees of RideBelize. RideBelize provides the technology and platform to facilitate connections between users.

3Passenger Requirements

To create a passenger account on RideBelize, you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age
• Provide a valid Belize or international phone number
• Submit a valid Police Report from the Belize Police Department
• Submit one valid government-issued ID — Social Security Card, Voter ID, or National ID/Passport
• Provide accurate personal information

Passengers must treat drivers with respect, comply with all safety requests, and not engage in any prohibited conduct during rides.

4Driver Requirements

To become a RideBelize driver, you must meet ALL of the following requirements under Belize law and RideBelize policy:

• Be at least 18 years of age — as required under the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Act, Chapter 230, Laws of Belize
• Hold a valid Belize driver's license for the vehicle class you operate
• Hold a valid Public Passenger Vehicle (PPV) licence issued by the Belize Department of Transport — required by law for any driver carrying passengers for hire or reward in Belize
• Vehicle must be registered as a Public Service Vehicle with the Belize Department of Transport and display a valid green license plate as required under Belizean transport law
• Submit a Police Report not older than 3 months from the date of application
• Maintain valid Full Coverage or Liability Insurance on your vehicle at all times
• Submit current vehicle registration
• Pass a physical vehicle inspection at your district's RideBelize inspection centre
• Upload a signed Pass certificate from a RideBelize certified inspector

5Vehicle Inspection Policy

All vehicles on the RideBelize platform must pass a 16-point safety inspection conducted by a RideBelize certified inspector at one of our six district inspection centres before being activated.

• Inspections are required before initial activation
• Re-inspection is required annually
• RideBelize may require re-inspection at any time if safety concerns are reported
• A vehicle that fails inspection may not operate on the platform until it passes a re-inspection
• Attempting to circumvent the inspection process is grounds for permanent account termination

Inspection centres are located in all six districts: Belize, Cayo, Orange Walk, Corozal, Stann Creek, and Toledo.

6Fares and Payments

All fares on RideBelize are calculated in Belizean Dollars (BZD) using our transparent fare engine:

• Base flag fee: BZ$4.00 (covers first 0.5 mile)
• Miles 0.5–5: BZ$4.50 per mile
• Miles 5–15: BZ$3.75 per mile
• Miles 15+: BZ$3.00 per mile
• Platform booking fee: BZ$2.00 per ride
• Night surcharge (9pm–5am): +15%
• Driver receives 83% of (total fare minus platform fee)
• RideBelize retains 17% of (total fare minus platform fee) plus the BZ$2.00 booking fee

Fares are displayed to passengers before booking. By booking a ride, passengers agree to pay the displayed fare. Accepted payment methods are DigiWallet and Cash (BZD). Card payments coming soon.

7Insurance and Liability

RideBelize maintains a $2,000,000 USD corporate surety bond that provides coverage during active rides in three periods:

• Period 1 — App On, Waiting: BZ$50,000 supplemental liability coverage
• Period 2 — Ride Accepted, En Route to Rider: $1,000,000 liability + $50,000 uninsured motorist
• Period 3 — Passenger In Vehicle: Full $2,000,000 bond active — covers driver, passenger, and third parties

RideBelize's bond supplements driver personal insurance. It does not replace it. Drivers must maintain personal insurance at all times. RideBelize is not liable for incidents occurring outside of active ride periods.

8Prohibited Conduct

The following conduct is strictly prohibited on the RideBelize platform and will result in immediate account termination:

• Providing false identity documents or inspection certificates
• Physical or verbal assault or harassment of any user
• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Transporting illegal substances or contraband
• Soliciting or accepting payment outside the app to avoid platform fees
• Creating fake accounts or manipulating the rating system
• Sharing account credentials with another person
• Operating a vehicle that has not passed RideBelize inspection
• Operating as a driver without a valid Public Passenger Vehicle (PPV) licence as required under the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Act, Chapter 230, Laws of Belize
• Using a mobile phone or electronic device while the vehicle is in motion — prohibited under the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic (Electronic Devices) Regulations 2023, Laws of Belize
• Operating a vehicle without a valid green plate public service vehicle registration
• Any conduct that endangers the safety of passengers, drivers, or the public

9Account Termination

RideBelize reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account at any time for violation of these Terms of Service, safety concerns, fraudulent activity, or any conduct deemed harmful to the platform or its users.

Users may request account deletion at any time by contacting support@ridebelize.com. Account deletion requests are processed within 14 business days.

10Dispute Resolution

Any dispute between users and RideBelize shall first be attempted to be resolved through our customer support team at support@ridebelize.com or WhatsApp +501 623-8887.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Each party shall bear their own legal fees unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.

11Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States of America, without regard to conflict of law principles. RideBelize also operates in compliance with applicable laws of Belize, Central America.
